Twiztid: biography, discography and legacy in the Genzeta Clips archive.

Twiztid is an American hip-hop duo from Detroit, Michigan, made up of Jamie “Madrox” Spaniolo and Paul “Monoxide” Methric. Formed in 1997, the pair are known for horror-themed lyrics and a rock-influenced sound. Spaniolo and Methric are also members of House of Krazees with Bryan “The R.O.C.” Jones, a group formed in 1993. Twiztid signed with Psychopathic Records in 1997 and released their debut album, Mostasteless.

With early releases such as Freek Show (2000), Mirror Mirror (2002), and The Green Book (2003), Twiztid solidified their place in horrorcore and the juggalo fanbase, while side projects like Psychopathic Rydas and Dark Lotus expanded their reach. After a run of solo and group albums, they scored their most commercially successful album in 2009: W.I.C.K.E.D., which peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard 200. Heartbroken & Homicidal and Abominationz followed before the duo left Psychopathic in late 2012.

Twiztid released A New Nightmare in 2013 without label backing, then formed Majik Ninja Entertainment in 2014. The Darkness arrived in 2015, and 2017’s The Continuous Evilution of Life’s ?s charted on seven Billboard charts. They also launched the yearly Astronomicon event, released six albums between 2019 and 2022, and formed spin-off groups The Rydas and Eastside Ninjas. Recent years brought solo projects and 2025’s Welcome to Your Funeral.
