Toosii

Toosii, born Nau’Jour Lazier Grainger on January 9, 2000, started releasing music in 2017. The Syracuse artist’s early project run built toward Poetic Pain (2020), which charted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 and gave him an early foothold. From there, his catalog expanded quickly: Platinum Heart, Thank You For Believing, and Pretty Girls Love Toosii all arrived within a two-year span.

The turning point came with “Favorite Song.” First gaining traction on TikTok, it climbed to number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a double-platinum RIAA certification. The single set up his second studio album, Naujour (2023), which reached number 19 on the Billboard 200. If Poetic Pain had announced Toosii as a promising new voice, the Naujour era confirmed a hard-won mainstream breakout.
