Scoochie Boochie

A fictional world, not a literal biography

Scoochie Boochie’s official catalogue connects albums through a comic story world. Sunrise at Dawn in Space (2022) leads into Dadquest (2023), whose artist-written description follows a quest to rescue the character’s father on the planet Areas. The characters and plot belong to the work; they should not be presented as facts about the musician’s personal life.

Start with Dadquest’s sequence

The linked Dadquest edition contains twenty-one tracks. Its list alternates songs with numbered narrative pieces, beginning with Puttin’ and I. The Chronicles of Areas Book V Dadquest. Keeping those short pieces in place makes the narrative route easier to follow than a playlist that removes everything labelled as a skit.

For a compact introduction, try the opening song, its following narrative entry and Waterfall. Ask what information the spoken scene gives you before the next song starts. Does a later line or musical choice make more sense because of that setup? Record the connection rather than reproduce the joke or its lyrics in full.

Follow one recording credit

Post-Nasal Drip explicitly features DJ Lucas in the track listing. That gives you a second route into the album through a named collaborator. The artist’s release notes also identify several producers, so a featured vocal credit and a production credit should remain separate in your notes.

Earlier and later reference points

The official music archive identifies The Lost City of Atlantits in 2020 and Sunrise at Dawn in Space in 2022. The current artist site promotes The Drinking Fountain of Youth. These are places to continue after Dadquest, rather than evidence that each album begins the fictional story from the same point.

The humour includes adult language and sexual jokes, which can affect whether this is the listening route you want. The profile uses release and structure information without reproducing explicit passages. For a live date, check the actual show’s age restrictions and billing; a fictional story premise does not describe the venue’s admission policy.
