Princess Nokia: biography, discography and legacy in the Genzeta Clips archive.

Destiny Nicole Frasqueri, better known as Princess Nokia, is an American rapper, singer and songwriter with roots in New York. Born June 14, 1992, she released her debut studio album Metallic Butterfly in 2014, then expanded her range across the 2015 mixtape Honeysuckle. As Princess Nokia, she found her breakthrough with the 2017 album 1992 Deluxe — a title that frames her story in year-zero terms.

Her output since has been restless in the best sense. 2018 brought the mixtape A Girl Cried Red, and 2020 arrived as a double-sided statement: the parallel studio albums Everything Is Beautiful and Everything Sucks, two complementary readings of a fracturing present. A more intimate register surfaced on the 2023 EP i love you but this is goodbye. In October 2025 she returned with the album GIRLS, released via Artist House. Princess Nokia remains guided by mood, timing and the long arc of her own history, mixing vulnerability, defiance and homage into a catalog that refuses to sit still.
