Nino Paid: biography, discography and legacy in the Genzeta Clips archive.

Jacquan Andrews, known to listeners as Nino Paid, has spent the last few years turning personal pressure into polished hip-hop. Reared in Landover, Maryland, he announced himself with the single “Pain & Possibilities,” a track rooted in the friction between circumstance and ambition. It doubled as the anchoring point for his debut album, Can’t Go Bacc (2024), and helped secure a distribution deal with Signal Records. The move suggested an artist ready to treat his early attention as only the start.

Love Me As I Am (2025) gave him room to open up. Where the debut leaned on survival and momentum, the sophomore record brought more nuance, tracing the tension between self-reliance and the desire to be understood. The industry took notice. Pigeons & Planes named him one of 25 artists to watch in 2025, a nod that positioned his work alongside the genre’s most compelling up-and-comers.

His next move, 2026’s Somewhere Over The Rainbow, carries an ambitious title, and Nino Paid seems to be working with that kind of reach in mind. The track record so far suggests a rapper more invested in building something lasting than chasing a single moment.
