Lil' Cease

James Lloyd, better known as Lil’ Cease, is an American rapper born August 20, 1977, in Brooklyn, a borough of New York City. He is best known as a former member of the hip hop group Junior M.A.F.I.A., an affiliation that remains the cornerstone of his biography. It positions him not simply as a solo artist but as part of a larger collective story.

As a solo artist, Lil’ Cease issued The Wonderful World Of Cease A Leo in 1999, an album whose title leans into humor and self-mythology. He followed it with Everything is Hardbody Vol. 1 in 2010, extending his catalog under a banner that suggests resilience and streetwise persistence. The series continued with Everything is Hardbody Vol. 2 in 2025, marking a long, intermittent recording history rather than a brief moment.

Across those records, his arc is one of continuity: a Brooklyn rapper whose Junior M.A.F.I.A. past and solo releases keep him tied to a specific era and its afterlife. The discography tells that story plainly.
