Flo Rida: biography, discography and legacy in the Genzeta Clips archive.

Tramar Lacel Dillard, born September 16, 1979, records as Flo Rida. The American rapper and singer emerged from Carol City with a voice built for radio: big, melodic, and relentlessly hook-driven. His 2007 breakout “Low” topped the U.S. chart for ten weeks and broke the record for digital download sales at the time. That commercial gravity shaped everything after.

His 2008 debut Mail on Sunday reached No. 4 in the U.S. He followed it with R.O.O.T.S. in 2009, then Only One Flo (Part 1) in 2010 and Wild Ones in 2012, both charting on the Billboard 200. Along the way he amassed international hits like “Right Round,” “Club Can’t Handle Me,” “Good Feeling,” “Wild Ones,” “Whistle,” “I Cry,” “G.D.F.R.,” and “My House.” With over 80 million records sold worldwide, he stands among the best-selling music artists. In 2021, he joined Italian singer Senhit to represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest in Rotterdam—an unlikely but fitting turn for an artist whose reach has always exceeded borders.
