Dan Whitlam
London rap and spoken word: start with Strangers (Again), follow the featured singers and compare the Roundhouse recordings.
Rap, poetry and the album sequence
Dan Whitlam describes himself on his artist-run Bandcamp as a London rapper and poet. Strangers (Again), released on 13 February 2026, gives that introduction a concrete shape: fourteen tracks, with several featured singers and a named interlude. It is a better first reference than a biography built from social-media audience numbers.
Three stops through Strangers (Again)
Begin with Victory Lap, the opening track, to hear how the record introduces its voice. Move to Strangers, credited with Raphaella, and then Hear You Speak, featuring Tamzene. The release page makes those vocal collaborations visible, so you can follow a named recording rather than guess who is singing a particular line.
At the seventh track, Interlude - Running Out Of Time changes the scale of the sequence. Keep it in place on a first album listen. Removing short pieces from a playlist can change how the tracks on either side are encountered, even if the individual songs remain the same.
What the Deluxe adds
The July 2026 Deluxe edition has seventeen tracks. Its first three entries are Still Care 4 U and live Roundhouse recordings of Strangers and Think Of Me. The original album sequence follows those additions. This means a description of the original opener will not match the first track of the expanded edition.
A useful comparison is Strangers in its studio and Roundhouse versions. Follow where the spoken passage ends, where the sung voice takes over and what the surrounding sound does during the transition. Write down a moment you can locate in each recording. The live label identifies the release; it is not a claim that GenzetaClips attended the show.
Choose the edition that fits the question
Use the original album to explore its fourteen-track arc. Use the Deluxe if you want the extra song and a direct studio/live comparison. Save the edition title in your notes so a recommendation to a friend leads to the same sequence. The artist’s own pages below provide track listings and credits without requiring copied lyrics or artwork.
